Guillermina, of the famous Aguilar sisters, from Oaxaca fashions this wonderful Day of the Dead "Frida".  The figure is a turn on one of Frida's self portraits.  The clay Friday is wearing a traditional dark skirt with navy blouse trimmed in gold.  Her hair is set up on her head with a native adornment.  In the background is a tree with leaves framing her face.  This is a terrific one of a kind piece for collectors of Mexican folk art, the Augilar Sisters or Day of the Dead.
