Hand loomed 100% wool tepate rug in the "Fields" pattern produced by hand in the village of Teotitlan, Oaxaca by Gaspar Chavez. Gaspar is a young man experimenting with the traditional dying process and his own unique designs. The natural wools in this rug are hand dyed using a variety leaves, herbs and roots to produce the the golds, greens, and browns. This is a contemporary design but works wonderfully with any decor. It also makes an incredible wall hanging. Wool rugs are very durable and work well in high traffic areas. Dry Clean.
