Hand loomed 100% wool tepate rug in the "Diamonds" pattern produced by hand in the village of Teotitlan, Oaxaca by the Chavez family. Natural wools are dyed using indigo, various roots and herbs, and cochanilla (a bug that grows on cactus) to produce the dark blues, reds, paprika, burgundy and teals. This rug is really deep and rich looking.  Wool rugs are very durable and are perfect in high volume areas or make beautiful wall hangings. Dry Clean.
