| One of the last pieces produced by Manuel Jimenez. Several weeks before Manuel Jimenez passed away, we had the privledge of visiting the Grand Master of Oaxacan wood carvings in his workshop in Arrazola, and purchasing this piece from him.
The Nahuatl - half man and half beast - was a form often represented in the work Senior Jimenez. This is a large piece measuring 14" T x 14" L.
The piece is signed by Manuel Jimenez (Autor) and his sons, Angelico and Isaias (Painters).
Wonderful show piece for serious collectors.
