This unusual nicho is called a capilla. The background color of the nicho is rich brown with gold highlights. Decorating the the rounded portion on top of the capilla is a multi-colored sun burst. Bottle caps with images of the sacred heart sit atop the spires. Adorning the sides of the nicho are pictures of saints and golden milagros. The frame of the door (which opens) and edging is hand painted in in yellow and red. The inside of the nicho holds a beautiful photo of Jesus and the Sacred Heart. Has hook for wall hanging.
